How to remove or change the background of a tab bar in android?
I'm trying to change the background of a tab bar in android programatically. I'm using a TabsPagerAdapter to display the tab bar. I know that I can use setTabSelector,setTabSelected,setTabUnselected methods to color it. But when I use this, the background doesn't change.

A Collection is a collection. Use what's right for the job. If you have an array, why not use that? If you need a list, use a list.

Because an ArrayList doesn't have an index like an array does, so the code for iteration or sorting isn't as trivial. This is mostly a Java thing, but that doesn't mean you can't do it in other languages.

But if you have an array, the array list is not the only thing you can do with it.
